A Few of my Favorite Things <3

Hello hello hello everyone! Happy Thursday!!! Welcome back to another day of Haute Take!! 

Today we have a super cute and fun topic inspired by my wonderful Auntie Kathy (round of applause for her please👏🏻)!! As Christmas comes closer and closer, it feels like the perfect moment to think about our ~favorite things~ to add to the wish list...queue “Favorite Things” from Sound of Music. So without further ado, here are my top 12 fashion favorites you might just want to add to your holiday list this season!

Stocking Stuffers 

Sunglasses 

A nice pair of sunglasses is such a perfect Christmas gift. They add so much to an outfit without even trying and they block your eyes from the sun? Who could ever pass that up?? You truly can never have too many pairs.

Tinted lip gloss/oil/treatment 

My go-to for days when I don’t feel like wearing makeup (which is most days). It makes you look instantly ready and put together with literally one thing on your face. Curl your lashes, swipe on a lightly tinted gloss, and you’re set for the day. Plus...who doesn’t want moisturized lips? Especially in the winter.

Flat claw clips 

As someone who constantly has her hair up because I simply don’t feel like styling it, flat claw clips are an absolute must. These are on my list this year because they do everything a regular claw clip does… just without looking big, bulky, or ruining your cute outfit. 

Hair bows 

Hair bows are one of my top favorite trends of 2025. I love them. They look adorable and feminine, and I genuinely feel like a princess every time I wear one, like I could just go outside and start talking to the birds. Truly magical. 

Earrings 

Earrings are the most necessary piece of jewelry. I can’t explain it, but I feel 100% prettier and more put together when I have earrings in. You can go for a big statement pair to level up an outfit, or dainty little ones that just add something sweet to your beautiful face. 

Bigger Gifts 

A good quality overcoat 

A must have. It’s one of those easy pieces where the coat is the outfit. So classy, so mature, so easy. 

Kitten heels 

As a tall girl, these are a must for me. They’re cute, classy, and most importantly, they don’t destroy your feet. You can wear them every day, and they elevate your look instantly. 

Bagssss 

I love bags so much I genuinely don’t even have the words. They add so much to any outfit while being insanely convenient. They hold everything your pockets can’t, and no one wants bulky pocket lumps ruining a look. Bags = the ultimate win-win. 

Perfume 

One of my favorite gifts to receive. There is just something about a good smelling perfume that makes me feel so clean and beautiful. If you want specifics, my top five are:

Cashmere sweaters 

So soft, so luxurious. The material works for both everyday casual wear and dressier outfits. Truly timeless. 

Loafers 

Some loafers are a little too chunky for me, but there are some really adorable pairs out right now. I especially love the ones with bows, they add a feminine touch while still giving chic, mature energy. 

Corporate fashion staples 

As a marketing girl, business casual is a must. But honestly, I’d love corporate staples even if I didn’t have to wear them. I live for that clean, polished, old-money vibe. This is something I would never complain about receiving. Think: long maxi skirts, high-neck blouses and sweaters, great tailored slacks, and more. Dior Tote Bag 

Okay, I know I already mentioned bags, and this one is way out of reach right now, but owning a Dior tote bag is one of my highest life goals. I’m absolutely obsessed. It is perfect. I saw one years ago on Hannah Harrell’s TikTok and was completely flabbergasted, and I’ve wanted one ever since. My all time favorite fashion item on the market right now.
