Five Holiday Fashion Must-Haves

Hi hi hi everyone! Welcome back to Haute Take and day 7 of Blogmas 🎄 

Today’s post is a super quick but very necessary one because sometimes you don’t need a full-on festive outfit, you just need one piece that instantly screams Christmas vibes. These are my top 5 pieces that make literally any outfit feel “Christmasy” with minimal effort. 

1. A Faux Fur Coat (or Trim) 

As you may have noticed in my past few blogmas posts, nothing says holiday season like faux fur. Whether it’s a full coat or just fur trim on a dress or jacket, it immediately feels festive, luxe, and wintery. Throw it over the simplest outfit and suddenly you look like you’re walking into a Christmas Hallmark movie. 

2. Red Anything 

Red is the Christmas color for a reason. A red sweater, coat, skirt, or even heels instantly gives holiday energy. I love pairing red with neutrals like cream, white, or black to keep it chic and not too much like a costume or too overwhelming to look at. 

3. Plaid Pieces 

Plaid is basically Christmas in fabric form. Although I am not the biggest plaid stan, I have to admit it really does give Christmas, no matter what time of the year you wear it. A plaid skirt or scarf automatically gives cozy, classic holiday vibes, very Ralph Lauren Christmas, very nostalgic, very cute. It’s timeless and always works. 

4. White or Cream Knitwear 

Soft white or cream knits feel snowy, cozy, and festive without being over the top. A chunky sweater or cardigan instantly makes an outfit feel wintery and Christmas ready, especially when paired with gold jewelry or any pop of holiday color. 

5. Festive Accessories 

This is where the magic really happens. Think hair bows, headbands, scarves, or even fuzzy earmuffs. Accessories are the easiest way to make a basic outfit feel intentional and holiday with almost zero effort. For example, lets say you have on a white sweater with jeans, not totally Christmasy, but throw on a red headband, it somehow instantly makes the outfit feel well thought out and in the holiday spirit!
