My Top 5 Golden Globes Looks!

Hello hello everyone!! Happy Thursday and welcome back to Haute Take!

I hope you all are having a lovely week! It is officially awards show season, and one thing about me is that I will watch an awards show literally just for the fashion. The red carpet is just so iconic and you really never know what you’re going to see. It’s the only reason why I watched the Critics Choice Awards the other day (and to see if Ariana Grande won best supporting actor...she didn’t unfortunately). So since the Golden Globes were this past weekend, I thought I would let you guys know my top 5 looks of the night! Let’s get into it!!

5. Maura Higgins

Starting off so so strong with this absolutely gorgeous look. “Thank you Love Island” we all say in unison, for giving us this STUNNING woman! I can’t get over this dress!! If you know me at all, you know off the shoulder never. misses. for me, and this is no exception to that. I love this unique take on a classy black gown by Egyptian designer Marmar Halim, it is just so gorgeous. That's all I have to say lol.

4. Jennifer Lawrence

Jen, Jen, Jen. This Givenchy look is just so incredible. The florals, the colors, the mesh, it’s just so good. One thing I may change is to just not have the cutouts on the side of the waist, but that is literally such a minor thing because this looks is just so perfect on her. And again, may be biased because the flowers are my absolute favorite color of all time (pink duh). Overall, GORGEOUS!

3. Selena Gomez

I absolutely love this look from Chanel. Some may argue that Selena played it too “safe” with this, but like I said before, I am a sucker for a classy look. Maybe it’s because I am still in my faux feather phase from Christmas, or maybe it's because it’s just so stunning. The world may never know. ANYWAYS, this dress has Chanel written all over it, and the black and white colors as well as the fit is just so perfect for Selena. I feel like she just exudes class in every way possible, which is really what Chanel is all about. PERFECTION!

2. Lisa

Speaking of classy, our number 2 look of the night is going to Lisa in this dress by Jacquemus. I mean, come on guys, it is just so stunning. It fits the vibe of the Golden Globes so well and it is the perfect balance of modest and still making a statement. I love the tassel detailing on the sides, it just adds a little something to catch the eye. Only thing I would change is the choker because I just don’t like those in general, but this look is just so good. GORG!

1. Jesse Buckley

Our number one look today goes to Jesse Buckley, wearing this gorgeous gorgeous light blue Dior gown. Now it’s no surprise I have Dior on my list because I just love everything they do, but this dress is just so perfect. The floral details are kind of giving hydrangea in the best way possible, and I love the structure of the dress and the one shoulder. ALSO the way the color of the shoes matches the dress so so perfectly, I am such a sucker for matching. Overall, it is so perfect. I need a dress in this color immediately.
